Pr. Eugenio Piñero

Pastor Eugenio Piñero graduated from Northeastern Bible College in Essex Fells, NJ (USA) in 1976. During his studies he met Trinity Baptist Church of Essex Fells (later Montville), NJ (USA). When he was a member of that beloved church, Albert N. Martin's pastorship was a powerful influence for good on his biblical knowledge and character.

Pastor Piñero was called to serve as interim pastor of First Baptist Church (then located in Hoboken) in October 1977. After an evaluation of his life according to the requirements of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1:5-9, he was recognized by the church and officially called to be its pastor in February 1978. He continued to benefit from Pastor Martin's counsel for many years and, as a result, the church came to know the biblical teachings more accurately and began to apply them to his personal, family and church life. Unfortunately, many of the most fundamental biblical perspectives have been lost sight of in today's Christianity, so that at times biblical, genuine, historical Christianity can seem novel.

However, God began to bless Pastor Piñero's efforts in such a way that other pastors began to seek his advice and help, hence he has been able to share with others what he has received. The application of this advice has contributed to the establishment of biblical ministries that have begun a process of biblical reformation in church, family and personal life with a new understanding and commitment.

One of the fundamental perspectives that Pastor Piñero learned from the ministry of Trinity Baptist Church is that we must follow the Scriptures wherever they lead us. Let this be our perspective as a church, every day of our earthly pilgrimage.
